Are you a high school senior looking for a scholarship to help pay for college?
Today, Fairport Savings Bank announced the details of its Bank Legacy Scholarship.
High school seniors who live in Irondequoit, Penfield, Webster, Fairport/Perinton are eligible to apply for the $1,000 scholarship. Applications are available at all Fairport Savings Bank branches or online at fairportsavingsbank.com.
Fairport Savings Bank Legacy Scholarship Requirements
Requirements:
- Demonstrates commitment to community service through volunteer activities
- Maintains a “B” average or better in academic pursuits
- Recommendations from a school administrator (counselor, administrator, or teacher) and a community service representative. Recommendations must address and verify community service activities
- Intention to attend college upon graduation or pursue full-time community service commitment (such as Peace Corps or other program)
The deadline for the application is March 31, 2012.
