Irondequoit: There's an App for that. The town is the first municipality in Monroe County to have a mobile application to connect with its residents. The new app will be released for Android phones today.

The application will have town information and a way for residents to interact with town employees and departments. There will also be a "Report a Pothole" feature, town news and events, upcoming recreational programs, videos, photos, an interactive map and a link to Irondequoit's Facebook page.

What about the iPhone? Don't worry, the town is currently developing an app that will be available for the iPhone in the coming weeks.
